LMN Architects promoted John Chau, Stephen Van Dyck and Rafael Vinoly-Menendez to partner. Chau is an architect with more than 20 years of experience in planning and design, including Stadium Place and Nintendo of America headquarters, and has also worked on university and transportation facilities in Hong Kong and mainland China. Van Dyck joined the firm in 2009 and is a leader of LMN Tech Studio, an in-house research and development lab. He has worked on public assembly, performing arts, higher education and mixed-use projects including Cleveland Convention Center and R.C. Hedreen's Ninth & Stewart Convention Hotel in Seattle. Vinoly-Menendez has 25 years of experience with national and international projects, including performing arts, sports and events facilities. His projects include Cleveland Convention Center, Spokane Convention Center expansion and Anchorage Convention Center. Seattle-based LMN specializes in planning and design of public and private facilities.

His work on Capitol Hill's 12th Avenue Arts received a Vision 2040 Award. Libow has over 10 years of experience and supports administration, human resources, marketing and event planning.

Callison hired Brian Keith as an associate in the Seattle office to work on retail projects. Keith led the art department of Sombrio Cartel, an athletics and lifestyle apparel seller in Vancouver, B.C. His background includes retail, exhibit, graphic and packaging design. He holds a bachelor's in industrial design from Emily Carr University of Art + Design in Vancouver.

Noll, a geologist and hydrogeologist with more than 20 years of experience, manages environmental projects. Kogler is a dispatcher for Puget Sound area construction inspectors. Stettler has 40 years of geotechnical experience. He supports the local geotechnical group and company-wide initiatives including design-build and federal projects. Garner is a certified professional services marketer with nearly 15 years of experience. She supports marketing in the Puget Sound area and Portland. Price has three years of experience doing environmental assessments for telecom, commercial, industrial, retail, residential and undeveloped properties. O'Brien and Anderson are engineers-in-training and support the local geotechnical group. Long and Lukin support environmental and geotechnical projects. Pysher is a materials technician in Tacoma. Le is a technician in the materials laboratory. Burkhardt and Morder are materials inspectors based in Mountlake Terrace. Terracon is a consulting engineering firm with more than 3,000 employee-owners.

ELM has made several additions in the Seattle office, hiring Ints Luters and Greg Murphy as landscape architects and Sue Costa Paschke as an intern landscape architect. Luters has nearly 20 years of experience, including 15 in the Pacific Northwest on highway design, Confluence project sites with Maya Lin, and designs at zoos in North America and Europe. He is working a $60-million exhibit at the San Diego Zoo where ELM is the landscape architect and design lead working with The Miller Hull Partnership and Quince Farm Studio. Murphy has 20 years of experience in park, waterfront, zoo and urban design projects including Chicago's Burnham Park and the Elliott Bay Seawall. He is working on retail/resort planning and zoo design. Paschke holds a master's degree in landscape architecture from the University of Washington. She has been a CAD drafter for more than a decade and produces construction graphics. She is supporting Africa Rocks at the San Diego Zoo. ELM is a Jacksonville, Florida-based firm that provides planning, architecture, landscape architecture, urban design and environmental graphics.

The Seattle office of Perkins+Will hired Hugh Campbell as associate principal and senior health care planner. Campbell has 35 years of experience on projects, including hospitals, specialty centers and research labs. His work includes the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital in Chicago, Children's Hospital Colorado, and Legacy Health's Salmon Creek Medical Center in Vancouver. Perkins+Will is an architecture and design firm.

Douglas Hyde joined NAC|Architecture as a consulting principal. Hyde has over 30 years of experience on more than 40 college and university projects. He was director of college and university design for JCJ Architecture and director of the Boston office. He also has lectured on student housing trends at international conferences. NAC provides planning, design, engineering and capital facilities consulting, with offices in the western United States.

Cela Fortier has returned as a senior project engineer at The Blueline Group, where she worked from 2006 to 2009 in the same position. She will focus on Seattle development projects. Blueline provides civil engineering and land development consulting to developers and municipalities in the Northwest.

Morrison Hershfield's Seattle office promoted Jose Estrada and Medgar Marceau to principal, and hired Jack Pearson as an envelope consultant/air leakage testing specialist, Emile Wang as a curtain wall specialist, Derrick Vu as a building envelope consultant, Adam Neugenbauer as an envelope consultant/materials specialist and Ami Case as marketing coordinator. In Portland, the firm hired Kristin Andersen as a senior architect/envelope consultant, Michael Beckwith as an envelope consultant/roofing specialist, Justin Barnhart as a project manager/envelope consultant, and Sam Chipperfield as an envelope consultant. The building envelope consulting group has 17 offices in North America.

He has managed civic, education, commercial, health care and lab projects. Cloutier has 10-plus years of experience in commissioning and managing commissioning projects. He has worked on health care, life sciences, higher education and public facilities. Sazan provides mechanical, electrical and data/telecommunications engineering, commissioning and owner representation services.

Parametrix hired Greg Poremba, Ph.D., as a senior consultant in Seattle. He will do business development and manage projects such as renewable energy generation, nuclear generation and transmission line environmental impact statements. Poremba has over 30 years managing environmental impact statements and permitting. He was a senior consultant for Cardno, where he led environmental assessments for the Bonneville Power Administration, Nuclear Regulatory Commission, U.S. Department of State and Bureau of Land Management. Parametrix provides engineering, planning and environmental sciences, with offices in the western U.S.

Gibbs & Olson hired Steve Hurt as a land surveyor. Hurt has over 16 years of surveying experience for public works projects. He specializes in boundary, topographic and construction surveys. He has worked for the city of Vancouver and Washington State Department of Transportation. Gibbs & Olson provides civil engineering and land surveying in Washington and Oregon.
