In Seattle, DCI Engineers promoted Patrick Lindblom, Katrina Reed and Robyn Yang to senior project manager, and Joye Moore to project manager. Lindblom oversees structural design for retail, hospitality, office, residential and mixed-use projects, including FANA 4th in Bellevue. Reed has worked on housing, hospitality, retail, tenant improvement and seismic renovations. Yang has provided engineering and management support for residential, office, hospitality and mixed-use projects, including N-Habit Belltown Apartments in Seattle. Moore has been designing and analyzing structural systems and components. Her projects are mixed-use, office, residential, hospitality, commercial retail and TIs, and include the 36th & Phinney office building in Seattle. DCI provides civil and structural engineering.

DKS Associates

Coffey

DKS Associates of Oakland, Calif., elected Peter Coffey president. Coffey is based in Portland. He has spent his 32-year career at DKS, including as the Oakland and Portland office manager, board member and principal-in-charge of several prominent projects. Randy McCourt, the outgoing president, will advise Coffey and then focus on mentorship and business development. The DKS board of directors also elected Jim Peters as chief business development officer, and Chris Maciejewski as chief operating officer. Both are new positions. The 120-person company provides transportation planning, design, and engineering services to public agencies.

Portland-based FFA Architecture and Interiors hired Rachel Zanetti to its architectural staff and Sophia Tan as a project architect. Zanetti's work includes marketing and the LBCC Benton Center North remodel. She was with Mackenzie. Tan has a hospitality and retail background, and is working on PDC's 10th and Yamhill Smartpark Garage and Retail rehab. She was with O'Kelly Kasprak in Chicago. FFA provides architecture, planning, and interior design.

Architects West of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, hired Robbie Frazer as a CAD Technician, Lon Dunaway as an architect and Mark Puddy as a landscape architect. Frazer has an associate degree in CADT architectural design from North Idaho College, and a construction background. Dunaway has focused on civic and commercial facilities, and his work includes the historic restoration and adaptation of Agnew Visitor Center & Museum in California. Puddy has experience in landscape architecture, land planning and site design on residential and commercial projects. The firm provides architectural and landscape architectural/land planning services.

Design West Architects promoted Bill Hamlin, Ned Warnick and Brandon Wilm to principal. Hamlin has been with the firm for 22 years, working in the Meridian, Idaho office. He works on educational facilities and building modernizations. Warnick was hired 20 years ago and is managing associate of the Pullman office. He specializes in higher education projects. Wilm has 15 years of experience with the firm, most recently as managing associate of the Kennewick location. He specializes in K-12 and community projects.

In Olympia, TranTech Engineering hired Ruth McIntyre as an office engineer, and Grant Griffin as the Olympia branch manager and senior engineer. McIntyre worked at the Washington State Department of Transportation headquarters for over 20 years in materials documentation, risk assessment and office engineering. Griffin was hired in 2015. He worked for WSDOT for nearly 30 years. He was the local agency bridge engineer and a project designer/inspector, bridge designer/inspector and senior program manager.

In Seattle, DOWA-IBI Group Architects hired Ross Parker as a senior architect and Kathryn Gannon as a senior designer. In Portland, it hired Brett Lundmark as a designer, Andrew Werth as an architect, Timothy Ruppel as a job captain, Kristin Belz as a marketing coordinator, and Rudy Schuver and Matt Jacoby as project managers. Parker is working on BASIS School in Bellevue and Mary Lyon Elementary School for Tacoma Public Schools. Gannon has 11 years of experience designing educational environments, including in the Bellevue School District and Seattle/Tacoma region. Lundmark has over 20 years of design experience, and is working on additions for Reynolds High School. Werth has worked on educational facilities in New Mexico and is working on McMinnville High School's addition and remodel. Ruppel holds a bachelor in architecture and a masters of architecture from Portland State University. He is working on McMinnville High School. Belz has nearly 20 years of experience in A/E/C marketing. Schuver has over 25 years of experience managing construction documents and construction administration on educational and health care projects. He is working on Rex Putnam High School. Jacoby has over 20 years of experience, including in the K-12 and higher education field.

Seattle-based landscape architecture firm Gustafson Guthrie Nichol hired Lesley Conroy and Azzurra Cox as designers in the Washington, D.C., and Seattle offices, respectively, and Jillian Strobel as a marketing coordinator in Seattle. Conroy holds a master of landscape architecture from Virginia Tech's Washington Alexandria Architecture Center. Cox has a master of landscape architecture from Harvard Graduate School of Design, and worked in Lisbon, Portugal. Strobel holds a masters in business administration from Claremont Graduate University.

Doctolero and Jason Wuertz as project engineer/project managers, and Jerry Bentz as a project construction inspector. Doctolero works in Salem-Keizer and Wuertz and Bentz in Tualatin, Oregon. Carlson is an owner, project manager in Vancouver and leads the hydrographic surveying team. Doctolero worked for Quincy Engineering in Rancho Cordova, California as an associate engineer and project engineer. She has nearly 11 years of experience in roadway transportation and structural bridge design. Wuertz has over 12 years of engineering experience, and was a city of Newberg senior engineer. Bentz has over 30 years of experience in heavy civil, commercial and residential excavation, and was a superintendent and project manager/estimator. AKS provides civil engineering, land use planning, land surveying, hydrographic surveying, forestry and forest engineering, arborist, natural resources, water rights, flood elevation surveying and permitting and landscape architecture services.
