His work includes San Francisco International Airport Terminal 1. Gabrielson leads MKA's water resources technical specialist team. Her projects include San Ysidro Land Port of Entry in California. Hulet designs office and mixed-use projects in the U.S., with work that includes Salesforce Tower in San Francisco. Kim designs high-rise office developments globally and is on the performance-based design technical specialty team. His work includes the University of Oregon's Hayward Stadium. Mouras designs convention centers and is working on Javits Convention Center in New York City. Niesen is in the civil group. His projects include the Missouri Riverfront Revitalization Master Plan in Omaha. Rogers is focused on retail and high-rise developments in the U.S. His work includes Wai Kai at Hoakalei in Ewa Beach, Hawaii. Sayre designs office developments on the West Coast. His projects include 2nd & University in Seattle. Streid designs office developments. His work includes Queens Quay Place Phases 1 and 2 in Toronto. Beaverton, Oregon-based JRJ Architects hired Mikki Rogers as a senior project manager, Jeanine Crawford as a technical designer and Flavius Budisan as an intern architect. Rogers returns to JRJ after working for a Colorado design-build firm. She has 19 years of design and project management experience, with a portfolio of health care projects. She is working on Providence Health & Services and Kaiser Permanente projects. Crawford has over 25 years of design and production experience, focused on health care architecture, including projects for Kaiser Permanente. She is doing TIs at Portland Professional Plaza. Budisan has a bachelor's in architecture from Portland State University. He is working on projects in the Portland metro area for Providence Health & Services. JRJ provides master planning, architecture, interior design and space planning services to health care organizations.

Portland-based StormwateRx LLC, a stormwater treatment and filtration company, said Robert Chapler earned his professional engineer license and has become certified as a Qualified Industrial Stormwater Practitioner. He has been promoted to project engineer, and will do technical and engineering design.

In Seattle, DLR Group hired designer Matthias Olt as an architect and senior associate. Olt is working with global teams on workplace projects. He has 24 years of experience designing tall buildings, mixed-use developments and sustainable projects in the hospitality, institutional, residential, retail and workplace sectors, including internationally. DLR said Olt understands the building types its workplace clients are increasingly looking for — most notably tall buildings and mass timber. The firm provides architecture, engineering, interiors, planning and building optimization.

Seattle-based Olson Kundig hired Hemanshu Parwani as COO/CFO to direct operations and finance, including business and organizational development, human resources and finance departments, IT and the administrative team. Parwani has worked in international operations, capital markets and strategic development for over 30 years, and been CEO, COO and CFO at international A/E/C firms, including CFO of international operations at Aecom.

In Seattle, Schnabel Engineering hired Glen Frank as a senior vice president specializing in underground construction. He will support the tunnel engineering services group's projects and develop new design services opportunities on the West Coast. He has 25 years of experience in design, project management and construction of tunnels for water, wastewater and transportation. Engineering News-Record named him a Top 25 Newsmaker in 2013 for his work on the Sound Transit ULink U230 project in Seattle. Schnabel works on planning, study, design and construction for geotechnical, dam and tunnel engineering projects.

Guilanians has nearly 20 years of experience as a construction project manager, including with 5-over-2 residential, high-rise commercial, and industrial power plant construction. Hainline provides project management, construction management, scheduling, and project controls services.

Parametrix hired Stephen Story and Joel Theodore as senior consultants in Tacoma and Seattle, respectively. Story has nearly 20 years of experience managing education projects and overseeing capital improvement programs. He was chief operating officer and executive director of maintenance and operations at Tacoma Public Schools. He is on the Parametrix owner's representative group and manages projects for school districts. Theodore has over 20 years of experience in engineering design, and project management. He was Sound Transit's Lynnwood Link Extension Corridor design manager. He is on the Parametrix transit group in the Puget Sound region. Parametrix provides engineering, planning, and environmental sciences.

The new role aligns all McKinstry electrical construction work under Ronco, with a focus on client service, regional growth and operations. He previously led the electrical special projects and service teams for the national design, build, operate and maintain firm.

Exeltech Consulting hired Richard Stoddard as bridge program director at its Lacey headquarters. The structural engineer has 40 years of experience in bridge design, construction and management. He has designed interchanges, river crossings, pedestrian bridges, fish passage structures and bridge rehabs. Exeltech provides planning, environmental permitting, civil and structural engineering design, landscape architecture and construction management.
