Sidney Scarboro joined Perkins+Will as an associate principal in the Seattle interiors practice. Scarboro has 35 years of experience on architectural and interiors projects. She will support client relations and account management, lead design teams, and do business development and contract and project manager oversight. Hoshide Wanzer Architects hired Megan Greenfield, Brie Martin and Ha Young Kim as staff members. Greenfield has a master's of architecture from the University of Oregon, several years of office experience and a Living Future accreditation. Martin has a bachelor's in interior design from Washington State University, and will primarily support interior design services. Kim holds a bachelor's in architectural design from the University of Washington, and wants to gain experience in the practice of architecture before returning for a master's degree in 2019.

Moody

Bellevue-based Core Design promoted Michael A. Moody, Holli Heavrin and Gina Brooks to associate. Moody has been an engineer for nearly 15 years, specializing in transportation and stormwater design for residential and commercial projects. He manages the engineering department and provides civil engineering design services. He is working on North Hill, a 112-home subdivision in Duvall, and multifamily projects in Seattle. Heavrin is an engineer with over a decade of experience in engineering, design and entitlement of residential projects. The engineering technical manager and project manager is working on housing in Redmond, Sammamish and the Eastside. Brooks, an engineer, has been with Core for 18 years, and is a project manager. She has worked on single-family plats, commercial developments, small site improvements, and master planned and multifamily communities. Core provides civil engineering, planning, surveying, landscape architecture and urban design.

The Riley Group

Heisey

The Riley Group hired Audrey R. Heisey as a senior environmental manager in its Bothell corporate office. Heisey has over 15 years of consulting and regulatory oversight experience related to natural resources, geologic analysis and cleanup actions. She has done facility compliance inspections, contaminated site characterizations, and remediation for oil companies, state and local entities, utilities, and commercial and industrial clients.

Newman

Architects West hired Brad Newman and Cody Schwedland as BIM/CAD technicians. Newman has 12 years of architectural experience that includes working at SPM Architects in Amarillo, Texas. He is working on the Schneidmiller House addition for Hospice of North Idaho. Schwedland knows Revit, AutoCAD and SketchUp. He is working on projects for the Richland Fire Station #72, East Valley School District (Spokane) and Prosser High School.

Hatcher

In Spokane, ALSC Architects hired Ed Hatcher as an architectural project designer, and Cody Rathbun and Todd Keller as architectural interns. Hatcher's background includes national and international projects. He is working on projects for Mead School District, including the Performing Arts & Athletics Complex. Rathbun is a 2018 graduate of Washington State University. He is using his design and graphic skills on the Performing Arts & Athletics Complex. Keller holds a masters of architecture from Montana State University. He is working on Mead School District and Walla Walla Community College projects. ALSC provides planning and design services.

Junier

It its main office in Kirkland, Blueline hired Kyleen Junier as an engineer/construction inspector on public works projects. Junier has over seven years of planning, program management and field engineering experience on P3, Design-Build, and CMGC heavy civil and building projects in California and Washington. Blueline provides civil engineering, land use planning and landscape architecture services.

Zervas Architects

Newhard

Bellingham-based Zervas Architects hired Zach Newhard as an intern architect. Newhard has done a range of projects in rural and urban Northeast environments. He earned a bachelor of architecture degree at Drexel University while interning at architecture firms and volunteering in carpentry at community service centers. Zervas is an architectural and interior design firm.
