		<description>The WPUDA headquarters is a great example of a poorly designed LEED building. I had the opportunity to tour it last month as part of the national solar open house tour. 80% of their PV panels don't face south, their bicycle parking within the parking garage lacks room on either side to actually put bikes into the mount. The water feature out front is quite ill conceived, as when it cycles every few minutes, the stainless steel drainback tank in the lower parking area booms like a drum.

It serves as a perfect example of designers going just far enough to gain LEED points, but not enough to actually see a useful design.</description>
