		<description>Good post. I am also intrigued by where Belltown, and for that matter all of downtown Seattle, can go in the future as a residential neighborhood. Another thing I think it is important for the city to focus on, in addition to transit, retail, and making pedestrian-focused streets is park space. Belltown and all of downtown could use some additional park space. I realize this is an expensive proposition given the cost of land, and lack of large tracts to easily convert, but a few additional nicely landscaped and maintained pocket parks could go A LONG way.

Perhaps the city should consider additional zoning benefits to developers for including public spaces in their designs?</description>
