ARC Architects, founded in 1976, has a staff of 17 architects, designers and planners. The three Principals—Dave Rutherford, Stan Lokting, and Rex Bond are actively involved on every project from early visioning sessions to design, construction and occupancy. Our team is comprised of highly skilled individuals, each with a passion for designing stimulating spaces that invigorate the user experience. More than 80% of our staff is LEED accredited. ARC’s project portfolio includes civic clients—libraries, community centers, recreation centers, educational, multi-family residential and Native tribes, and private sector projects—single-family residences, biotechnology, office and corporate spaces. We have designed more than 30 community and recreation facilities featuring classrooms, multi-purpose spaces, pools, gymnasiums, racquetball courts, fitness centers, banquet halls, kitchens and dining areas. Another strong practice area is with non-profit organizations, designing low-income housing, senior centers, medical clinics and care centers for the physically and emotionally challenged. Our experience with a wide range of projects allows us to embrace and guide collaboration and community processes. We pride ourselves in making careful and prudent budget choices, and consider a host of design alternatives tailored to each project’s unique priorities. We seek to discover the poetry in design, while working to creating efficient, flexible and innovative spaces. |
