The foundation invests in public education, theatre, career pathways and supportive care, primarily in Washington state and Los Angeles County. It was founded in 2001 by Sheri and Les Biller.

Frazier Healthcare Partners

Frazier Healthcare Partners, which provides growth capital to health care companies, hired Anthony Draye as an executive partner on the Growth Buyout team. Draye has spent 10 years helping health care companies with IT strategy. He worked for TridentUSA Health Services and also worked for Boeing on software development. Frazier has over $2.4 billion under management and has investments in 170 companies.

AAA Washington, a provider of emergency roadside assistance, named Harry Thomas vice president and chief marketing officer to lead the creative, web, public relations, social media, publication and discount teams. Thomas worked for T-Mobile as director of product marketing.

Strategies 360

Strategies 360 in Seattle hired Robert Dillon as senior vice president. An expert on energy policy and politics, Dillon was senior advisor to U.S. Sen. Lisa Murkowski and communications director of the U.S. Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee. He will focus on government relations, crisis management, media relations, and writing about energy issues and other policy areas. The firm has offices in 10 western states and the District of Columbia.

Bill Baldwin, one of the founding partners of The Partners Group in Seattle, was named Agent of the Year by the Independent Agents & Brokers of King County. He has worked in the insurance industry for 51 years. He was president of Washington Policy Center, founder of Insurance Associates, and served as adjunct faculty in M.B.A. programs and Legal Seminars International.

City of Seattle

Seattle City Attorney Pete Holmes has appointed Kelly L. Harris as the new criminal division chief, succeeding Craig Sims, who left CAO in December for private practice. Harris is a 22-year prosecutor, starting in 1994 as a deputy prosecuting attorney in King County Prosecuting Attorney's Office. In 2002, he joined the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Western District of Washington and in 2009 joined the U.S. Department of Justice's National Security Division as a trial attorney in the counterterrorism section. He starts March 9.

GreenRubino named Steve Johnston executive creative director. He has 25 years of advertising expertise at Goodby, Fallon, McCann Erickson, Cole & Weber and Publicis/Seattle, where he was creative director and managed T-Mobile's campaign.

Darigold

Darigold named Stan Ryan, a long-time Cargill executive, president and CEO effective Feb. 22. Ryan led Cargill's agricultural supply chain in Shanghai, with more than 30,000 employees and 700 facilities, and was interim CEO for Eagle Bulk Shipping in New York. Seattle-based Darigold is the marketing and processing subsidiary of Northwest Dairy Association, which is owned by nearly 500 dairy farms that ship 8.9 billion pounds of milk annually from farms in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Northern California, Utah and Montana. It operates 11 processing plants.

Microscan, a global tech firm focused on barcode, machine vision, verification and lighting solutions, named Dan Barnes vice president of operations based at the headquarters in Renton. He was director of engineering.
