Jean-Pierre “JP” Green has over 16 years of experience in private wealth management in the Pacific Northwest and was an infantry officer in the U.S. Army. Jason Lynch was as a senior private banker with Morgan Stanley Private Bank. Thomas Witte worked for 33 years at Bank of America.

The Seattle office of K&L Gates LLP hired Christopher J. (CJ) Voss as a partner in the corporate/M&A practice. Voss was with Stoel Rives LLP, where he practiced for more than 20 years. He worked at the U.S. Department of Commerce in Washington, D.C., and at Linklaters in Brussels.

Perkins Coie named Kristine R. Wilson managing partner of the Bellevue office, succeeding Mark Quehrn, who served in the role since 2003. The Bellevue office opened in 1983. Her practice focuses on land use, environmental, real estate and energy law.

Washington State University

The Carson College of Business at Washington State University hired Jessica Cassleman as assistant dean of international programs. Cassleman was assistant dean in the WSU Honors College for the last 16 years and has worked closely with international programs for over 20 years.

Laird Norton Wealth Management named Jeanne Goussev managing director of fiduciary services after a national search to replace Barbara Potter, who is retiring after nearly 30 years with the Seattle firm. Goussev comes to LNWM from Threshold Group in Seattle, where she was managing director, client service and a member of the executive committee. She also worked at Whittier Trust Co. and U.S. Trust/Bank of America Private Wealth Management. LNWM has almost $5 billion in assets under advisement.

Brighton Jones, a Seattle wealth management firm, said it has launched Impact Portfolios for investors seeking an investment strategy that considers social responsibility and environmental responsibility as well as economic strength. It will use environmental, social and governance ratings in selecting investments. The firm also has offices in San Francisco, Portland, Scottsdale and Washington D.C., and represents more than 1,100 clients.

The Metropolitan King County Council named Deborah Jacobs director of the Office of Law Enforcement Oversight, an independent government agency that reviews complaints about the Sheriff's Office's policies and practices. Jacobs has served in leadership positions for the American Civil Liberties Union and Ms. Foundation for Women. Jacobs was executive director for the ACLU of New Jersey for 13 years.

Estate Planning Council of Seattle

The Estate Planning Council of Seattle has new officers for 2016-2017. Kurt Olson of Fahlman Olson & Little is president. Immediate past president is P. Gerry Maurer with Northwestern Mutual. Ronald Nagle with Peterson Sullivan is president-elect. Carla Wigen of Wells Fargo Private Bank is treasurer, and Kathryn Garrison of Moss Adams Wealth Advisors is secretary.
