U.S. Bank Wealth Management named Mark Castelin portfolio management managing director for U.S. Bank Private Wealth Management in Seattle. Castelin was director of investment advisory services at CTC|myCFO investment firm in Seattle, and was with Russell Investments prior to that.
Gordon Tilden Thomas & Cordell said litigator Brendan Winslow-Nason has joined the firm as of counsel. He was a partner in the Seattle office of Cozen O'Connor focused on complex insurance litigation and representing developers and general contractors in construction litigation.

Irvine, California-based Ingram Micro ITAD, a provider of IT asset disposition (ITAD), onsite data destruction and e-waste recycling services, is expanding into new markets and has opened a satellite facility at 2108 B St., N.W., Suite 120, in Auburn to serve clients in Seattle, Portland, Spokane and the Pacific Northwest. Ingram Micro ITAD was formerly CloudBlue.
Zymergen, a molecular technology company based in Emeryville, California, is expanding in Seattle with a new office at 1624 Fourth Ave. Zymergen has employed a small team here since late 2015, and plans to continue hiring here. It was founded four years ago and now has more than 350 employees in two offices. The 4,770-square-foot Seattle office has six employees, with space for another 30. The firm said it focuses on improving the performance of materials and discovering new molecular products for everything from agriculture to pharmaceuticals.

Leafly, a Seattle-based cannabis technology company, named startup executive Chris Jeffery chief executive officer. Jeffery co-founded OrderUp, an online and mobile food delivery service that was acquired by Groupon in 2015. Consumers can use Leafly to learn more about cannabis, discover products and brands, and find retailers through a website and mobile app.
The Seattle Times promoted Alan Fisco to president effective January, 2018. Fisco has been executive vice president and chief financial officer since February, 2016. He has worked at The Times for 25 years, and served as president on an informal basis for the past five months.
Opus Bank said John Norawong has joined as senior managing director of commercial banking in the Pacific Northwest. Norawong is a 24-year banking veteran. He was with Seattle Metropolitan Credit Union as head of commercial lending, and also worked at BBVA Compass and Bank of the West.

The Port of Everett Commission appointed retired Boeing supply chain manager Bruce Fingarson to fill the vacant District 1 seat. Fingarson will be sworn in on Nov. 7. The appointment lasts until the port election in 2019, when anyone can run for the position.
Kent Keller, professor and fellow of the Geological Society of America, has been named director of the School of the Environment at Washington State University. He has been a WSU researcher and teacher since 1988. The school has undergraduate programs in environmental science, wildlife ecology, forestry and earth science. Classes are taught at four WSU campuses.
