Puget Sound Kidney Centers has finished a new $4 million dialysis center at 803 31st St. in Anacortes.
The 6,500-square-foot, nine-station center serves residents of Skagit County with in-center dialysis, home and peritoneal dialysis training, visitor hemodialysis, a permanent bed station and an isolation station.
The facility expects to serve 45 patients by 2016.
Puget Sound Kidney Centers is a private, nonprofit corporation offering community-based dialysis services, with the intention of making services more accessible and convenient.
PSKC has other centers in Everett, Mountlake Terrace, Arlington and Oak Harbor.
