Angle Lake Station

Sound Transit has expanded light rail service to Angle Lake Station in SeaTac.

The new line connects Angle Lake to the existing 18.8-mile Link system between Sea-Tac Airport and the University of Washington. The project included a 1.6-mile elevated rail line from the airport to South 200th Street and 28th Avenue South.

Crews cast 1,170 concrete segments weighing 30 to 40 tons each to build the elevated guideway. The blue aluminum garage facade was built with 8.81 miles of blue anodized aluminum plank.

It includes a 1,050-car parking garage and 70 surface parking spaces, e-car charging stations and bike storage.

Angle Lake Station will serve as the southern terminus for Link until service to Kent/Des Moines starts in 2023.

The station is part of the $383 million South 200th Link Extension.
