Prexy has opened in the University District at 4737 Roosevelt Way N.E.

The six-story building has 66 apartments, and over 1,500 square feet of ground-floor retail. It opened in time for University of Washington's fall quarter, with 42 studios, 20 open one-bedrooms and four two-bedroom units.

Sizes range from 427 to 705 square feet. Some units have washer/dryers, and rents range from $1,225 to $2,200.

With a Walk Score of 96, Prexy is within walking distance of the UW, and close to bike lanes and mass transit.

Prexy offers Dwelo, an app that allows tenants to control heat, lights and door locks via smartphone.

There is a rooftop deck with gathering room, pet-friendly features, and spaces for students to study.
