Hines 800 Fifth Avenue

The 42-story 800 Fifth Avenue building just got a face-lift.

The $46 million project resulted in new finishes and a brighter space. Work involved relocating 24-foot curtain walls to expand usable interior space. Upgrades were made to bathrooms and elevator cars. The structural pinned glazing system was brought from England. Finishes include marble and stone, stainless steel curtain-wall supports and accent pieces throughout.

Work took place while the building was occupied, which required coordination between the contractor and management.
