Q: Are you related to the Portland Daily Journal of Commerce?

A: No. Similar names, similar kind of paper, two different companies.

Q: Geographically, how wide is your coverage? Is it mostly Seattle/King County info?

A: We have subscribers all across the northwest. We cover northwest business news. In terms of construction jobs out to bid and A&E rfp’s, we go from Alaska to Oregon, Washington to Montana, both public and private work. We can only report on what is happening, and sometimes less populated areas can seem to be not covered, when actually it’s just that there is not much activity to report on. Other databases vary as to extent of coverage.
