AIA picks this region's top 10 greenest projects

The Lake Sammamish State Park Beach Beach House in Issaquah will have solar panels and a green roof.

The Lake Sammamish State Park Beach Beach House in Issaquah will be an easily replicable building with a green roof and solar panels that might generate enough energy to be sold back to the grid. For these reasons, it was chosen this week as one of the top 10 greenest projects in the region by the American Institute of Architects Seattle Committee on the Environment.
