WSDOT has high hopes for hotlanes in region

Beginning tomorrow, for the first time in Washington state solo drivers can drive in the high occupancy vehicle lane without fear of getting a ticket — at least on nine miles of state Route 167 between Renton and Auburn.

Tomorrow is when the new high occupancy toll lanes on SR 167 are scheduled to open.
