Two engineering awards for Narrows

KANSAS CITY, MO. — The joint venture of Parsons/HNTB has received the 2008 “outstanding civil engineering achievement” award from the American Society of Civil Engineers for its work on the new Tacoma Narrows Bridge.

The OPAL award goes to the project which best advances the field of civil engineering and which illustrates superior civil engineering skills.
