Mountlake Terrace says its planning efforts paying off

The new town center, with a public plaza and retail space, will be the center of Mountlake Terrace’s sustainable development.

When Mountlake Terrace was designed in the 1960s, it was based on the car. Now, the city is updating its planning process to create a town that is more sustainable, dense and friendly to both pedestrians and developers.
