Kenmore to hire park consultant

KENMORE — The city of Kenmore is looking for a firm to develop a master plan for the 42-acre Swamp Creek Park. It will accept statements of qualifications through June 19.

The open space was acquired by King County Parks in the early 1990s, and was recently deeded to the city of Kenmore. The park will remain open space, but passive recreation such as trails, picnicking and habitat preservation could be developed on the land.
