Maritime center opens in Port Townsend

    The $13 million Northwest Maritime Center helps brand Port Townsend as a regional center for boat building.

    After more than 10 years in the making, the Northwest Maritime Center in Port Townsend has opened its doors, in advance of this weekend's Wooden Boat Festival.
