Two neighborhoods to update plans

SEATTLE — Rainier Beach and the Broadview-Bitter Lake-Haller Lake neighborhoods are scheduled to begin updating their neighborhood plans this year.

City officials said in a press release that the Rainier Beach update will review potential growth around the light rail station and ways to improve the commercial core. The Broadview-Bitter Lake-Haller Lake update will look at the addition of bus rapid transit service in 2013 and challenges from recent growth.
