Reid Middleton, an Everett-based civil and structural engineering, planning and surveying firm, promoted Suzanne Brendle and Katy Brawner to project engineer and Lance Lum to senior engineer in the structural projects group. It hired Leah Curulla as marketing coordinator, and named Erika Welborn a technical editor. Brendle works on civic, aviation, military and educational projects. She was on the Whatcom Middle School team. Brawner focuses on the aviation, civic, health care and military sectors. She worked on the new Delta Sky Club at Sea-Tac. Lum has been a civil and structural engineer with the firm for 12 years and now heads the Hawaii operations. He has experience on new and rehabbed structures, and has focused on federal and military markets. Curulla has nine years in A/E marketing. She previously worked with Sparling/Candela. Welborn, the firm's marketing coordinator for eight years, is now a technical editor who reviews specifications and technical papers.
