14 projects win awards from Seattle AIA chapter

Fourteen projects were winners in the 2013 Honor Awards by the American Institute of Architects Seattle chapter.

They were selected from more than 130 submittals, and include both built and conceptual projects by Washington-based architects and designers.

The jury was Stella Betts of Levenbetts, Manuelle Gautrand of Manuelle Gautrand Architecture and Virginia San Fratello of Rael San Fratello.

Winners were announced Monday at Benaroya Hall. The event was moderated by Rob Corser, an associate professor of architecture at the University of Washington.

This is the 63rd year of the awards.
