Kirkland plans for parks, swim center

KIRKLAND — The city of Kirkland will hold a “Community Future Day” so residents can help prioritize transportation, water quality and park projects from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 26 at City Hall, 123 Fifth Ave., Kirkland.

Projects in the city's draft master plan include the Cross Kirkland Corridor, transportation, surface water utility, and parks, recreation and open space. The parks plan includes a new recreation and aquatic center.
