Bridges on Skagit River and SR 520 win top local engineering awards

Max J. Kuney Co. and Parsons Brinckerhoff built a new span over the Skagit River. Construction cost $6.9 million.

The Interstate 5 Skagit River bridge replacement and the anchor design for the SR 520 floating bridge and landings won awards for Local Outstanding Civil Engineering Achievement from the American Society of Civil Engineers Seattle Section.
