West Seattle station gets safety upgrades

Seattle Fire Department's Fire Station 36 at 3600 23rd Ave. S.W. in the Delridge/Harbor Island neighborhood, just got a seismic and safety upgrade. The station was built in 1971. The $1.7 million project remodeled the station and added retrofits to meet current earthquake standards.
