Here are the INaward winners for 2014

Nine projects won 2014 INawards from the International Interior Design Association's Northern Pacific chapter.

The awards honor excellence, innovation and collaboration.

Seventy-six projects were submitted by interior designers, architects and industrial designers from Alaska, British Columbia, Washington and Idaho. Jaime Gillin of Gray design magazine moderated the 11th annual awards on Monday at Benaroya Hall.

Jurors were Annie Chu of Chu+Gooding Architects in Los Angeles, Mary Knopf of ECI/Hyer in Anchorage and Paul C N Mellblom of MSR in Minneapolis.

The chapter gave the Industry Award to Terri Bowman, Haworth's senior architecture and design market manager for the Pacific Northwest. She has 21 years in the corporate design industry and has worked on LEED platinum and gold projects.

The Professional Award went to Nancy Burfiend, who established NB Design Group in 1988. Burfiend has worked on public, commercial and residential projects and has received a number of awards. She was recently featured in Interiors Magazine and Luxe Magazine.

Tiffany Taylor of Bellevue College won the Wilsonart Student Portfolio Academic Award in the sophomore honorable mention category. Julie Rose of Cornish College of the Arts was the junior award winner and Wanting Zhou, also of Cornish, was the senior award winner.

The project categories are INmass: corporate, not-for-profit and multifamily institutional projects; INpublic: public, government and educational projects; INhospitality: hotel, spa, resort, restaurant and retail projects; INhealthcare: hospital, clinic and assisted-living projects; INhome: single-family housing; INstory: good design despite extraordinary circumstances; People'sChoice: a project selected by the public and INconcept: product design or un-built interior projects.
