Panelists will discuss how Seattle's buildings and landscapes are portrayed in film, and how theaters contribute to the local film scene at 6:30 p.m. April 9 at SIFF Uptown Cinema, 511 Queen Anne Ave. N.
Seattle Architecture Foundation is sponsoring the discussion, which is titled “Location, Location: Exploring Seattle Through the Filmmaker's Lens.”
Speakers are Randy Hodgins of the University of Washington, Owen Richards of ORA and David Drummond, a freelance location scout.
The event is part of Design In Depth Lecture Series, which explores Seattle through architecture, literature, music, art, film and culinary arts. The series runs through June. Tickets cost $15 at http://tiny.cc/bd0yvx/.
