CH2M drops 'Hill' to refresh brand

DENVER — Global engineering firm CH2M Hill said it has adopted a simpler name — CH2M — and a new logo to reflect its growth plans.

The company was last rebranded in 1990s, and has since grown to 25,000 employees.

In the past year, it has focused on better collaboration across its five business groups.

The company was founded in Oregon nearly 70 years ago by three young engineers and their professor. It said its work is now concentrated in water, transportation, energy, environment and industrial markets, and it has annual revenues of almost $6 billion.
