AIA Seattle will hold a workshop titled “Nuts and Bolts for Small Firm Practice” from 1 to 5 p.m. Sept. 23 at 1911 First Ave. in Seattle.
Topics include business models, compensation structures and fees.
The presenter is Rena M. Klein. She is principal of RM Klein Consulting, author of “The Architect's Guide to Small Firm Management: Making Chaos Work for Your Small Firm” and executive editor for AIA's 15th edition of “The Architect's Handbook of Professional Practice.”
Cost is $85 for members and government employees, $50 for AIA associates and $172 for non-members.
