Architect Peter Busby to talk at UW

VanDusen Botanical Garden Visitor Centre in Vancouver, B.C., is one of Peter Busby’s projects.

Peter Busby, managing director of Perkins & Will's San Francisco office, will give a free lecture on “Exploring Architecture's New Edges” at 6 p.m. Oct 14 in Architecture Hall 147 at the University of Washington.

Busby is internationally recognized for his contributions to architecture and planning, with an award-winning portfolio that embodies social responsibility and a commitment to sustainable design.

His book, “Busby: Architecture's New Edges,” was published this year.

The talk is part of the UW Department of Architecture Fall 2015 Lecture Series.
