Murase designs plaza and fountain at Apollo

This stainless steel fountain and plaza are part of the landscape design that Murase Associates did for Amazon's Apollo building in Seattle. Lead Pencil Studio designed a metal gateway sculpture for the site.

Vulcan Real Estate owns the 12-story office building at 333 Ninth Ave. N. It was completed in June and Amazon.com occupies all 311,000 square feet.

There is 5,650 square feet of ground floor retail, with Eltana Wood-Fired Bagel Cafe open now and Hurry Curry set to open next year.

Graphite Design Group was the architect and GLY Construction was the contractor.

The landscape also includes streetscapes surrounding the building and a rooftop terrace and garden. There are green roofs on three sides of the tower.
