Yost Grube Hall Architecture's headquarters at 707 S.W. St. in Portland earned LEED gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.
YGH moved into the renovated 10,000-square-foot space in 2013.
The office is in a walkable and bikeable location near public transportation, YGH said, and has natural daylighting and systems that reduce energy and water use. Locally reclaimed wood and low-VOC paints, flooring and furniture were used in the renovation. YGH has sustainable office policies and provides green education.
The USGBC promotes sustainability in design, construction and administration.
Yost Grube Hall provides planning, architecture and interior design for commercial, educational and governmental clients.
