In Seattle, Glumac promoted Michael Aliaga to mechanical supervisor and associate, and Dana Troy to associate, and hired Adam Bernardo as a mechanical designer, Yitian (Tim) Zhu as an energy analyst and Elena Velkov as a marketing specialist. Marianna Jacobsen-Gruenwald transferred from Glumac's San Francisco office to Seattle. Aliaga was hired 10 years ago and oversees five engineers. He focuses on commercial, hospitality and institutional projects. Troy was hired nine years ago, and has worked as a mechanical engineer and energy analyst. He works on commercial and educational projects, including for University of Washington.

Jacobsen-Gruenwald

Bernardo has a background in hospitality and restaurant projects in the U.S., China and Australia. Zhu will support clients on energy programs and LEED certification. His clients have included Starbucks and Marriott. Velkov has a bachelor's in journalism from University of Florida, and a background in green building and clean energy policy. Jacobsen-Gruenwald has over 20 years of experience as a CAD/production manager. She specializes in electrical work, environmental codes and commercial projects. Glumac provides mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering, building commissioning, building modeling, lighting design, technology integration, building energy optimization, and LEED and LBC certification consulting.
