Seattle City Club will hold a Civic Boot Camp about redeveloping the waterfront. It will be offered twice — Aug. 12 and 26 — from 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. on both days.
The walking tour will start at the Olympic Sculpture Park and end at Pike Place Market. It will explore the natural and cultural history of the waterfront, the Port of Seattle and the city's plans for rebuilding the area.
Cost is $300, or $240 for Civic Boot Camp alums. Register at http://tiny.cc/9t5ady/.
