Marthalee Galeota, access and disability program manager for Starbucks Coffee Co., will give a free talk at 9:30 a.m. Feb. 9 at the Center for Architecture & Design, 1010 Western Ave. in Seattle.
The Northwest Universal Design Council is presenting the event, which is being held in conjunction with AIA Seattle's exhibit at the center, titled “Open to All: Designing for the Full Range of Human Experience.” Galeota helped develop the exhibit.
Galeota will talk about how organizations can move beyond ADA regulations, make a broader commitment to human-centered design, and ensure a more meaningful experience for people of all abilities.
