2 open houses on Burke-Gilman link

SEATTLE — The city of Seattle will hold two events this month for people to comment on the design of the 1.2-mile “missing link” of the Burke-Gilman Trail through Ballard.

There will be an open house from 5 to 8 p.m. Oct. 12 at Ballard-Eagleson VFW Post at 2812 N.W. Market St. and a public self-guided walking tour from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 14. For the tour, the city will have stations along the missing link with information about the project.
