Stefanie Barrera Aguila, a master of architecture graduate student at the University of Washington, won a $2,000 scholarship from the American Institute of Architects Southwest Washington chapter.
The chapter also awarded renewal scholarships of $500 to past recipients who continue to pursue an architecture career: Luis Servin of Washington State University, Isabella Boyd and Savek Butorac of the University of Washington, and William Marsh and Mary Grace Lewis of the University of Notre Dame.
Scholarships and renewals are funded by the biennial AIASWW Luxuries of Life Auction and a yearly $1,000 grant from AIA National.
