Architects Kristen Becker and Jim Friesz and artist Saul Becker opened Mutuus Studio in Seattle at 802 Sixth Ave. S., Suite 1.

The firm uses an interdisciplinary design approach, merging architecture and interior design, as well as artist collaboration projects and material exploration.

Its projects include a 16,000-square-foot headquarters for Altius Institute of Biomedical Science in Seattle's World Trade Center and cabin retreats in Big Sky, Montana and Cle Elum.

Friesz and Kristen Becker worked at Olson Kundig in Seattle and Saul Becker has a 16-year exhibition history and is represented by Horton Gallery in New York.
