Draft EIS out for arena renovation

SEATTLE — The city has released a draft environmental impact statement for a $600 million proposal by Oak View Group to renovate the city-owned KeyArena for an NHL or NBA team.

The draft EIS lists three project alternatives: the Oak View Group proposal, a modified proposal, and no action. It considers impacts such as noise, traffic and greenhouse gas emissions.
