Glosten, a Seattle-based naval architecture and marine engineering consultancy, appointed Morgan Fanberg as president. Fanberg succeeds John Springer III, and is the sixth president since the firm's founding in 1958. He will set the direction for Glosten, which he joined two decades ago. He led the marine engineering group, and was instrumental in expanding mechanical capabilities and developing the electrical engineering group. Under Springer's leadership, Glosten supported projects that included the refit of R/V Revelle for Scripps Institution of Oceanography and design of the M/V Guemes replacement ferry for Skagit County.
