In Seattle, structural engineering firm Swenson Say Faget hired Sarah Wondrasek as a project engineer. Also, it promoted Robert Henry to senior project manager, Sean Johnson, Brian Richter, Mat Johnson, Derek Ohlgren and Lori DeBoer to project manager, and Evin Gibson and Heidi Maki to the shareholder group as associate principals. Wondrasek, a University of North Dakota graduate, is working on a seismic evaluation of the 916 E Pike Retail Building. Henry joined SSF in 2004 and is working on Drumheller Office Building and Paine Reynolds Building URM seismic rehabilitations in Walla Walla. Sean Johnson was hired five years ago. He is doing TI projects for Microsoft and Amazon, and working on the Performing Arts Center for Eastside Prep in Kirkland. Richter was hired in 2014. He is working on Issaquah Gateway Senior Living. Mat Johnson joined the firm four years ago. He is working on Bellevue Christian School Campus in Bellevue and treehouse projects for Nelson Tree House & Supply as seen on “Animal Planet.” Ohlgren joined SSF in 2015 and is working on seismic retrofits and renovations, including 419 Occidental in Pioneer Square and Phi Gamma Delta fraternity house at UW. DeBoer was hired 2016 and is working on Bellevue Christian School Campus. Gibson is a senior project manager who joined SSF in 2008. He is working on multi-family projects at 600 E. Howell St. and 701 Valley St., and TIs for Facebook in South Lake Union. Maki joined the firm six years ago. She leads marketing and business development, and is involved with corporate branding and culture initiatives.
