Nelson, a Philadelphia-based architecture firm, said it will acquire Craft Architects of Seattle to help expand its industrial practice nationwide. Terms of the deal were not released.
Craft designed for Prologis the first multistory warehouse space in the U.S. at Georgetown Crossroads in Seattle. Nelson said in a press release that the project is notable for its three-story structure with truck access on two levels. The concept is expected to help meet increasing demand for industrial manufacturing and distribution space in dense, urban areas.
