Design Perspectives: Waterfront plan gets broken into bite-sized pieces

Seattle is still on course for a high quality urban waterfront, one that works hard for pedestrians, bicyclists, transit and cars, but don't hold your breath.

Construction of the seawall is in full swing, but demolition of the Alaskan Way Viaduct and waterfront construction have already been delayed a year because of big problems underground.
