Design Perspectives: The Marion Street bridge design falls short

Marion Street Pedestrian Bridge is the busiest span in Seattle, easing the trip for people walking between First Avenue and the ferry terminal at Colman Dock.

Crossing over Western Avenue and Alaskan Way, it carries most of the ferry passengers who commute daily on foot. Thousands of people use it on most days.
