Cheese factory plan back on in Bandon

BANDON, Ore. (AP) — The Bandon City Council has agreed to terms with a developer who wants to build a new cheese factory at the site of the former Bandon Cheese Factory.

The World newspaper of Coos Bay reports that it's a moment of redemption for many in Bandon who have mourned the loss of the factory since it closed in 2002.
