Minn. chain buys 23 NW auto centers

MINNEAPOLIS — Minnesota-based car-repair chain Abra Auto Body & Glass announced on Monday that it acquired 23 Precision Collision Auto Body repair centers in Washington. Eighteen of the centers are in the Seattle area.

The deal marks the company's entry into the Northwest. Abra now operates a total of 172 repair centers in 17 states, including 37 the company has acquired or opened this year.
