Mayor Mike McGinn and his challenger, state Sen. Ed Murray, held similar positions on most of the issues that came up at a forum put on by the Washington chapter of NAIOP, but they showed a clear divide in their governing style.
McGinn repeatedly said Seattle needs to focus on its own goals because the state legislature is too divided to help, while Murray said Seattle must work with other cities, counties and the state to get what it needs.
