EDC panel: region can't rest on its laurels

    Seattle's economy is expected to stay strong this year, but a panel of experts says government, developers and business leaders need to do more to keep it that way.

    The Economic Development Council of Seattle and King County held its 2014 forecast yesterday and a variety of experts who spoke said investments are needed — especially in transportation — to keep job growth strong and the economy buzzing.
